Hello everyone and welcome to the AnimeRolePlayClub. I know that there are a lot of people who enjoy role-playing and there are a lot of people who love anime, so I thought... why not bring them together.

What is the AnimeRolePlayClub?

The AnimeRolePlayClub is a club where there will be a set anime theme each month and that is the anime we will be role-playing for. For example, let's say that the set theme of the month is "Princess Mononoke". Once the set theme has been chosen, there will be a list of characters that you can choose to role-play as. But, to be the character that you want to role-play as, you must send the club founder a role-play sample so that we can determine if you will fit the part.

General Rules:

1.) First off, anyone is able to join this club whether you are good at role-playing or if you just want to send in fan-art of the anime of the month.

2.) Please do not complain about the anime of the month theme. If you do not like it then you do not have to role-play in it. That just means you have to wait another month for an anime that you want to role-play in.

3.) Please respect all members of the club. Some people are new and some people are skilled. No matter how it looks we are together and a big happy family in one sense. Please respect that and do your best to help out.

4.) Once you have been chosen to play a character, then please stay in character. Since each character has unique qualities about them, this rule is required. For example: Ai Enma from "Jigoku Shoujo" is not all happy-go-lucky or cheerful. She always has a very sad and reserved personality. She is also pretty monotonous.

5.) PLEASE STAY ACTIVE!! If for some reason you cannot role-play with us for a certain amount of time, please note the club or the club founder with the length of time you will be gone.

If you are absent without a notice, the penalties are as follows:
--A warning will be sent to you through a note.

--Halfway through the second week, your character will become available for role-play by another role-player.

--After one month, you will no longer be a member of this club and you will be unable to role-play with us.

I am sorry if this is too harsh, but I cannot risk having so many members being idle in this club.

6.) There will be absolutely no harassment of any kind to the members of this club. This speaks for itself.

7.) Powerplaying, godmoding, scrypting, chatspeak, and any other manner of inappropriate role-play depiction will not be tolerated. It's very frustrating to other members. Please respect that.

8.) Any conflicts between members must be reported to the club admins/founder immediately. If true hostilities cannot be calmed, the members in question will be banned from the club as a warning. It's not hard to avoid each other. If it truly cannot be avoided, measures will be taken.

9.) Images posted for the club's anime of the month must not be offensive. Given the fanart images people make of this anime, it's sort of obvious why this is necessary. The farthest I'm willing to allow is simple romance: kissing, hugging, etc. You can't please everyone, I know this. If problems arise, the admins/founder will step in to resolve the issue.

10.) The minimal role-play post length for the club is two paragraphs. That is counted as at least five sentences per paragraph. The smaller your post, the harder it is for others to role-play with you. Please bear this in mind.

11.) Immediate relationships are discouraged, as they are not believable. Granted, since the "heroes" of the story know each other, they can approach and interact as friends. A romance would take time, no matter who it's between.

How To Join:

First, NOTE the club or club founder asking to join and tell us whether you are joining to:
-Role-play
-Upload Fan-art for the Anime of the Month
-Join in on any contests that are held
-Help out new role-players
-Help out as an admin
You may pick more than one of the above choices or if you have a different reason tell us that as well.

Depending on if you choose role-play or not, I will ask you to provide to me your best role-play sample to see if you are capable of big roles or small roles. Even if you start with smaller roles, you will definitely progress to bigger roles with practice.

Once you are approved by the club founder, you will then have to add our club icon to your journal and ask some of your watchers if they would like to join the club. Once we see that journal you will officially be a member and you will be added to our member list.

Club Submissions Information:

When you submit any fan-art to this club, IT MUST BE BASED ON THE ANIME OF THE MONTH. We will not accept any submissions unless they represent any part of the anime of the month.

To submit, please send a note to the club titled "Submission" and provide the link and any information you would like us to put in the artist description.

We accept any mediums and we also accept literature and fan-fictions. Just please do not make any submissions over the top to the point that it could be banned.

We also do not tolerate tracing. If we find that your submission is traced, you will be sent a warning and your submission will be deleted from the club.

If anyone is interested in being an admin in this club, please send a note to the club titled "Admin Position" and tell us if you will stay active or not.

Every admin must stay active unless you have a good reason not to be active. If we know you will be gone for a while, we will announce it in a journal so no one tries to report you for being absent for a long period of time.

Anime of the Month:

Until we get enough members, the anime of the month will not be chosen.

When we DO get enough members, we will have all members who join suggest an anime that they would like to role-play. Then we will have everyone vote for an anime from the first 10 suggested by our members. (Once we get a subscription, we will use a poll to do this.)

Role-Player of the Month:

To become a role-player of the month, an admin will choose who they think should be the role-player of the month.

Do not ask to be role-player of the month. This will just lessen your chances of getting it.

There may be more then one depending on if we have a contest during a specific month.
